RC Driving Style
Hey again I'm new to this but I finally have my mgt running around and broken in its awesome but when I push it full throttle it runs fine but when I let off the throttle is sounds high rpm or like it keeps screaming for about 1.5 seconds or so before it will kick down and return to normal rpms... I dont know if this is normal or is this the servo not clossing the throttle very fast or is it reving to high or what haha I have no idea and dont wont to hurt this thing '

also I want a new cooling head anyone know where to get an aftermarket one that does the job or any other good 1st hop ups>:first_place:
 
Which model o you have - 3.0, 4,6, or 8.0? The first upgrades I did for my 4.6 was the FOC kit. It shaves so much weight from the truck and makes it so much more powerful. If you have to have reverse you can look at just about anything RPM
 
mgt 8.0 and just a few tanks past break in...
I found a foc kit for it on ebay can anyone explain the benefits with this and why I would do it.
 
The FOC kit takes the reverse out of the truck. The main benefit is you loose a servo and all of the rotating mass in the tranny. Less weight = more power. More power = a bigger grin!!
 
a nova head works great will drop the temp about 20 to 30 degrees
