interesting. these look like the same ones that traxxas sells. maybe this company makes them for traxxas. just like traxxas servos are really futaba just with a different name. i have a set for the front,rear and center for my t-maxx.
 
I don't think there is going to be a big wieght difference in compairison to the durability an performance gains you will get by going to CVD's...
 
One of the main reasons that people run these is that when you upgrade to a high performance engine, the stock drivelines tend to twist and flex, which can cause a lot of obvious problems. Once you upgrade the tranny, then you have the stock driveshafts as the weak link.
 
Oh. So is there a gear set that makes all the stock 2.5 gears steel? Or do I need to buy a whole new tranny? Is the 3.3 tranny as good as all steel gears?
