that is a very nice looking tmaxx. i agree with the other 2 posts. loose the stock wheels and rims and get some velocity dish white rims and some bow ties. to give it that kick race look. overall, awsome truck!

I wish they made chrome looking or at least brushed aluminum looking Beadlockers! Thought about the bowties as well. I think if I go racer look I would get a dodge ram body for the HPI nitro MT's kinda the stadium truck body, with some white racing wheels and bowties. Not sure which wheel combo would look cool with this thing. Thought also about the aluminum hardcore wheels in anodized blue.

That's slick. I also have the Dodge Ram body, but it's resting now. I've been running the Humm-V lid. I did my Ram with glitter and burgundy with the white stripes down the center. No photos in my gallery yet, but coming soon.
Just like yours, I didn't want to open the front windshield, but you WILL need to cool it.
I dremmeled out the 4 openings in the front grill. Looks and runs cooler. I had also done the grill in silver, but it lacked the chrome look that's on the real thing. In the R/C airplane section you can get sticky back trim in chrome, then cut out the openings in the grill, and it looks great.

White rims?? Icky!!! Gotta be chromed! Should hook up some aluminum ones on ther, thatd be bad ass! Looks sweet!

I was to lazy to paint the front with chrome paint so i just used a metalic silver. The lower sides I jimmy rigged. Used some tin tape cause the sticky side is shiney. Looks pretty good, but if the body flexes it makes lines which you can just smooth out with your fingers agian. Haven't had a problem with it running hot at all I live in MN so maybe the later parts of summer it gets hot but even then it ran fine.

Nice Truck!

Very nice truck! Looks good with those rims and tires, I wouldn't change them until they were worn out.

what a beauty!! "lll take her out for a nice afternoon at the levy area anytime!!:smoke: very nice!!...and I do have to agree with some of the other replies...get rid of them wheels and get some nice ones!! Enjoy your ride!!..congrats.....

Hey dude...

What do I think?? I think that's a nice ride that I'd be happy to bash with. Keep hopping her up but listen to as many opinions as possible before you do.

As for the Stock Tires/'wheels. I acutally love the stock Maxx tries...they loook good IMO and they're a great "all terrain" tire. If you need wider and somewhat larger tires you can't be Proline BigJOes and if you need Road Tires you can't beat Proline Roadrage tires.

Nice body to btw. I get sick of c'ing those Gay ass Hummer H2's...no offense to anyone with said gay body.lol.

ya 30%, i totaly agree with you. every other f'ing body is an h2. now working at a hobby store I've seen a few guys with a real talent with an airbrush, and man did there h2s look cool. i personaly am an h1 fan, low and wide, those are some cool atv's
I'm realy :OT: . what do you like to do MACHZMISSILE, rock climb, cruiz the street. this is what would help decide you choice of new tires.

I do everything from rock climbing, jumping, mudding, hillclimbing, and soon to be tested to see if she floats! Gonna take all the old parts that I have taken off and build another tmaxx just a hacked out one and make skis for the front end with sand paddles in back and see if it skips water.I think if the water is smooth no waves it will do all right. not gonna do it with this truck though.

if you do all that, i recomend an all terrain tire like the big joe 40s and maybe some velocity 6 or mambo rims that would look killer!!

those other pics you got to show the "under the hood shots" look EXCELLENT! once again, great truck man!

Actually I have the center skid plate but took it off and haven't put it back on yet, and I am getting the RC Solutions Rollcage.

you just took the air cleaner off for the pics right

pls say I'm right... lol

btw cool truck!
