I have been thinking of making my savage a 6X6 when i say this i don't mean just doubling up the back wheels. any comments or ideas how this could be done would be appreciated :cheers: So far i have been thinking of getting 2 lots of diff cases and modifying them to have 2 openings then running a dog bone from that to the very back

it will be a big job but i have already done something a bit similar but not as difficult

I want to make the 6x6 so it can be changed back to 4x4 easily so i can still drive my truck now it is summer :cheers:



so far for the center diff (middle set of wheels) i have been thinking of getting 2 sets of the diff covers and bulkheads (first attachment) Then cutting the side where u mount the shock tower to a similar shape of the other side (second attachment)

I think it would be awesome if you could pull it off. That longer savage you have posted up there is sweet. Have you seen that 6 foot long one somebody made? It was up on the forum a while ago...
 
found it put in '6 foot long' in the search

the turning circle on that would be tiny only 10M or so :jk:
 
I think owning a savage that long would be cool though. I lauphed my ass of watching the vid of that thing lol.

do an advanced search put in '6 foot long' and search in the savage talk area the thread is called check out this savage
