my towers and shocks should be here today and I'm wondering what to use to space the shocks off the towers?

what do i need for stand offs?

Sorry not sure what happened but yes hpiracer is right.. Them is what I use and they are great..
 
I have nylon stand offs. I will get those suggested for later use. I just want to bash my ride!!!

I need a set of stand offs to I just got done installing the nova muti towers on my 4.6 and I want to use my UE super maxx shocks.. with the stand offs what else will I need??

Prolly longer screws, some washers.. I had to use the stand offs on bottom as well as on top so I needed 2 packs of the stand offs. They are cheap and come in handy..
 
So are you running the nove towers ??? and UE shocks???

arawak420 did you get your towers In yet?? and did you get the ofna stand offs?

UE also has stand-offs that will work. Pretty cheap too. It's the shipping where you get bent over the table.
 
UE Stand Offs

If the link just sends you to their search screen. Just type in the work "standoff" in the seach criteria.

Both sizes of standoffs look the same. Only one shows a pic. The 5mm or 6mm is the inside diameter of your shock eye opening.
 
yeah man.i got my towers in today. i just got the front one on. I'm ghonna call a coupld of my lhs tomorrow to see if they have the stanf offs. one store has lots of buggy parts, and the other store has both, but there is an old man that works there that is all about trains nad doesn't really know about trucks/cars.

shocks should be in tomorrow, but i can't install them until i get the 40wt oil in. I'm only gonna run 4 t-maxx piggy back progressive suspensions shocks. i go t the associated 40wt silicone oil on line for $4.50 shipped, and the lhs wanted $13.50 plus $5 for gas to get there and back. so i am waiting. waiting on alum skids,center skid, and gas tank gaurd. got a FREE pull start coming from HPI. hopefully next weekend everything will be good to go. it's wet and rainy so there is no hurry.

No worries on the screws you will find them a tad too long.
 
You get the right stand offs from ue with the maxx shocks. I have the ue shocks and nova towers. The work great!

I bought the shocks used and don't have the ue stand offs.. Are yours 6MM??
