I'm guessin my one way bearing is out?.. i put the rotostart on and it just spins.. motor doesn't turn over what do i need?

oh yeah, and can i put a pull start on my 25?

You could try cleaning the one way bearing, but if it is truly blown...head for the LHS and pick up a replacement.

As for the pull start question, yes. I do not know the part number off the top...but you should be able to slap a pull start on that engine with little difficulty.

how do i know if its blown? i have it apart.. all the gears look ok and move fine. the big one in the middle doesn't sit in place though, its got some play?

hmm when i tapped on it, some pins fell out... I'm guessing its blown then

YUP it's blown for sure and yes you can use a pull start on it. I used the one from the 21BB and it fit just fine since it takes the same one way bearing it should be just fine.

yup your gonna have to get a replacement and if your gonna stick with the roto start then i suggest you buy 2 cause they seem to blow pretty easy. i suggest you switch to pullstart cause i did that and i like it way better.

Regardless, you will need to replace the one way. Make certain that when you purchase the pull start, you do not forget a new one way.

will do, i think i will like the pull start more, because i dont like carrying around the roto, and all i had to do witht he roto was tap the button and it would start up so pull shouldnt be bad at all

Yeah it wont be bad at all untill u run about 6 0r 7 gallons of gas through it and it gets some age on it , or what if you just simply dont start it for 4 or 5 days, then with a pull start it will be like starting up that old weedeater in your grandpa's shed that he swears runs. After run oil is nice, but not that nice. Trust me thats why HPI put it on the new 25. I have it and my one way cracked after one week :flaming: I replaced it and its been fine since
