if i decided to go with the OS .30 what would i need to do to prep my 3.3 to accept this big of a motor without destroying everything in the drive train? i know i need a new chassis, and probably better axles and for sure new drive shafts. what else would i need? Also with this kind of power I'm going with all RPM arms and everything else prolly going with lots of aluminum for strength, but only upgrading as i break things, jus really need to know what ill need jus to get the motor on and running and have the thing go....FAST!

Or is this gonna en up costing me to the point i might as well leave mine stock and jus throw the money at the HPI savage 5.9 xl!! them things are REALLY nasty out the box compared to even a maxx with a .26 red dot so if its going to cost me more than 500 to make my 3.3 use the os .30 without destruction i might as well go all out on a better truck?
Tell me your opinions and/or what i would need.

It is going to cost ya man. New chassis, ALL drive line new CVD or HD dog bones. New HD diffs, metal gears for the tranny. Most likely new fuel tank (Bigger) ect..... You are looking at having a $600-700 T-Maxx. I did mine very slow one part at a time when I got great deals. Go with a Picco .26...it is way easier and you get your big block power with out getting too crazy in the Mods. By the way I think the .26 will walk off and leave my .30 Sirio in my T-Maxx.
 
well just my 2 cents but I have a tmaxx, lst2, savage and Revo and there is no way that I would sink the money into the Maxx to put a BB in it. Just seems like you would be trying to make it do something it wasn't designed for when you could grab a savage for a decent price and it would tear a$$. Remember just keep adding more Rc's never sell one to get another is my motto.
 
oh no doubt on not sellin! my maxx 3.3 is my first REAL rc next to my nylint crawler and all the radio shack rc's i had when i was a kid so i figure one day I'm going all out shelf queen with it after i build my collection and get another couple maxx's then ill shelf alot starting in the order i buy them as i upgrade others too!
