Rippin my truck today and I can't even remember what happend but it took a nosedive and when it hit the ground, the motor died on the spot. So I went to get it and wen I picked it up I seen abunch of fuel come outa the exhaust. Inspected more and I broke the motor mounts and cracked the motor mounting plate. Tried to start it up again and it wouldn't. What would cause the fuel to pour out the exhaust?

the truck being upside down it is suposed to do that so i doesn't flood and kill the engine because it would have too much compression i belive

Racers corrrect, to start up again check your lines, make sure theres fuel in them and make sure your engines not flooded.

Thanks guys, ill have to wait a few days till I can get a motot plate and motor mounts. Till then, guess ill clean er up and see if I can find anything else broken. Oh ya, I took the backplate off my motor and noticed this little rod and behind it was a spring, what's that all about?

Not too sure why the springs their, its in mine too; but its the shaft that rotates with your pull/roto start to turn your engine over.

That's a one way starter pin. It's supposed to isolate the owb and starter shaft after the engine is running to ruduce wear on those items and free up a little hp.

Don't leave it out or you won't be able to start it.

The spring allows it to disengage when the engine fires up.

Cuz now wen I turn it over by hand, I can hear it go "tick". Dunno if it did that before, just noticed it now.

That is normal. I think it is one of those things that you probably didn't notice before because you were not picking things apart looking for things wrong. You should be good to go once you get all of you stuff back together. Yup engine mount and drive center shafts are the only things I have ever broken on my Savy.
