i have a futaba s9450 servo w/ deminsions 1.59 x 0.79 x 1.48 I'm wondering if this high-torque digital servo will fit/wrok ok?

Most any servo will fit. I'm pretty sure that will fit. If you want I'll check my savage manual and get the exact measurements, just LMK.

Thats a nice servo, 111oz in 0.10 sec @ 6V. It will definitely fit without any problems. The dimensions are exactly the same as all the standard servo's.

Where do you plan to use it? Steering or Throttle?

A stanard sero will fit the Savage, the naem helps in the size and type you need from mini, nano, micro, standard and so on. Go to Towers and they will help in the size of the servo shell.

i have 2 of them, but i think i'll keep the spair if the steering one brakes on me. one on the throttle i think will be way to much action. prolly just use a futaba 2055 for thottle. never know though.
