what are the deminions for the tmaxx so i can mount a body. Like motor/gas tank/body posts etc. I went to Parma to get that template but when i print it out it gets smaller so the demions are messed up

Are you trying to figure out where to cut the holes for everything (cooling head/engine, fuel tank, ez start, and body posts)? If so, most bodies come with some sort of indentations as guides for those cut outs (at least bodies that are specifically designed for the T-Maxx). As for dimensions, I refer you to your owners manual...then I recommend you do what most people do: hold the shell over the body posts until it looks like the area you want to mount it (call it a dry fit). Then mark the cuts with something like a water based marker. Then have at it with a dremel tool and lexan sheers.

Ahhhh...that's a different story.

He said ..."mount a body", so I thought that was where he was needing help. Painting and masking...talk to NCNitro, Christian, Nitro Dave, etc., etc. Those guys can hook you up. I think Fast Eddy might have some experience in this area also.

Sky you were right, he specifically asked for info on mounting the body, motor, gas tank, body posts, all of which really have nothing to do with painting Maxxcrazy88 :trout:

Kornkid Skymaxx nailed it, fit it to the truck before painting if the body is not already marked where to cut. It is much easier to fit while it is still clear. Use a marker to mark your holes, it will easily wipe off with denatured alcohol, not to mention alot of bodies now come with a clear coating on the body anyway that will be peeled off after painting.

I was talking to him on the phone as he did...He has an old body he found in his garage that he wants to use as a basher body... your Right NC I was thinking of someting totally different...

what is parma's website address????

shut up maxx i ment mounting the body its not made for the T-maxx its OLD so ill try the "dry fit" thing
and i alredy tried the parma thing when i print it out its smaller

What a prick! lol

Just a note on the template, on the site it says "NOTE: This template isn't scale. Resizing may be neccessary.

Just a thought.....
