i am putting some t-maxx shocks on my saavge, what kinda of shocks would you recommoned? i want some pretty good ones!

j/w but why would you go for shorter shocks? The savage is a good jumper with the big ones.. lol j/w

Are you trying to make it low to the ground for better handling? If so try to get some supermaxx shocks " i am not sure if they will fit tho", good luck with your search. - SkYLiNe RaCeR

I'm running the Dynamite shocks. I've never run anything else so I'm not sure of anything other than the stockers.
The dynamites have been awesome. Never had a problem with leaking of any kind. Very durable. I jump the mess out of my Maxx and I've never bent a shaft.

I have bash buds that run the Dynamite shocks like Gilbe that are very happy with them. I also know two people running the threaded hot bodies Savage shocks that are very happy with them.

WHy do you wanna run Maxx shocks on your Savage by chance?? One of the best things about the Savage is the longer suspension travel!

I run 4 of the supermaxx shocks on my 21 maxx. Really like them. They seem to be very durable. I put them on about a gallon ago and no leaks or bents shafts.

In order to use T-Maxx or buggy shocks on your Savage, you will need to get the New Era upper a-arms. The shocks then attach to the upper arm as opposed to the lower arm.

I would seriously recommend using 1/8 scale buggy rear shocks. They are the same length or just a bit longer than T-Maxx shocks. They are a heck of a lot beefier and match up to the UE shocks that most will recommend (note the UE shocks are either buggy shocks or darn close to it). NC Nitro mentioned the a-arm issue.

I have read the UE super shox is a modified buggy shock. the shaft is a bit longer on buggy shox. thats the differance I have read.

I also have the UE super shock sitting downstairs.
