What would you do to upgrade a Savage X ? I have put a HPI Chrome pipe on and got rid of the plastic one, put a RPM center skid plate, got RPM Arms put a Ofna micro fail safe on, and got BLING RACING 17mm HEX ADAPTORS and a new Body just need to paint. Just wondering what else I should do.

Well looks like you have a good head start...other than that...3 speed transmission, stronger steering servo.

That is pretty much all I would add too. Many people will tell you to upgrade your shocks or A-arms, but in the long run the stock stuff is much cheaper and stronger. If you get a higher output after market motor you may want to go with a steel spur and hardened clutch bell, but with the stock motor you are fine with the stock spur and clutch bell. I just keep a supply of dog bones and A-arms in my tool box and have been good to go for over a year. Over time you
will probably want to do the throttle mod and a few other things to make your truck a little more user friendly and personalized, but for now you are covered.

Happy Bashing!
