  1. Bashing
Hey guys ran one tank through her today after school. It lasted about 20 mins because i was running lean to keep the temps up. Anyways, i was bashing it around the yard and then some wet dirt (mud) lol. So here it is after the bash. Amazingly i didnt break anything, only problem is the exhaust pipe kept coming off when i flipped it.

NO,NO,NOOOOO. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT tune your engine lean in order to keep temps up. You will destroy that engine in no time. You might get good runnng temps but she'll be waaaay under lubricated. When it's cold outside you need to wrap the cooling head. The idea is to limit the amount of air flow so the engine retains more heat.

My god you scared the poop out of me! lol. It was only running at 170-180. and it was 40 degrees here today.

Thanks for the warning. It gave me time to grab a barf bag.

Lessen is absolutely correct. If you try to raise the engine temps on a cold day by leaning it out, you are also STARVING it for the oil that lubes it.
Wrap an infant's sock cuff around it, or tin foil, or duct tape. Keep the engine at a good temp, and make sure it's getting the lube that it still needs.

I saw a good stream of blue smoke so i hope it didnt hurt it too bad and like i said it was running at 170-180.

What the F is that? That ain't mud, if you want mud I'll show you mud! Mine looks like that on the daily, it adds character.

sh!t when i go run in just plain dirt it looks worse than that you call that mudding

I think I got my E-Revo dirtier while playing on wet asphalt lol! Just givin ya crap man.

I know this thread is supposed to be about the mud but this is important. 180 isn,t horribly cool but yu really need to get that baby over 200 degrees. wrap her up and she'll probably be good to go. Like you said, keep an eye on the blue trail but keep in mind that you're always going to see 'smoke' when it's cold outside so that can be hard to judge sometimes.

doesn't that make you want to hose it off. Every time i get mine really dirty i just want to run it through the car wash. lol

I guess that is what is considered dirty in PA? You gotta come play in Texas!
Nah, Its called I'm lazy to clean it... I will gladly send it to you and you can clean it lol:D
i think you may have a toe out issue in the front also.
I noticed that, not sure if its becuase of the picture but i will defiantly check that out.
Thats what she said, LOL!!!!!:hehe:

Its pretty dirty but I have seen dirtier trucks on here before, LOL!!! have fun cleaning it..
Thats the crappiest part

That is EXACTLY what i wanted to do but i can't lol

It was only one tank i ran through it in flat wet dirt so i wasn't expecting it to get covered in mud. I guess i was proud i took it out and got it dirty without breaking it.
