Well the weather is perfect and I have no kids to watch! I want to start to brake in my new mill(sirio .30) the thing is I only have MC-59 plugs on hand and no way to the lhs:doh:. Can I start to brake in this mill with a hot plug then just get a cold/med plug and retune it for heavy use? I bet I should just wait but I figured asking would not hurt either! Thankx
 
OK thankx thats what I thought. I can't wait!!!!!! Just going to finnish cutting out some liqud mask on my body and maybe a few coats of chrome then out to play!
 
Ok got my savvy out yesterday ran the mc-59 and 25% fuel. Runs grate fired up so fast I could not believe it. Once again thankx for the mill joe. But ok my new thing is I can't even think about hitting my brakes or it turns right off?? It will idle fine, take off fine but as soon as I hit the brakes off she goes? The needles where at factory specs when I started I leaned out the lsn and rchend up the idle screw no help. Then I riched up the lsn and left the idle alone I ran out of time and gave up till I could get some help. Anyone know what 2 do?! Thank you all.
 
Have you removed the air filter to see whats goin' on when you aply the brake... Maybe somehow the slide is closing.. Did the idle change when you turned the screw in??
 
Like big jilm said, pull the air filter and have a look while operating the throttle/brake(engine off). Sounds like your servo is holding idle position instead of the idle screw. When applying the brake the throttle is closing. Adjust the trim all the way down so the servo isn't holding the throttle open then adjust the idle screw in until it starts to move the throttle slide. Set for around 1.5mm to start, then fine tune the idle after it's running and up to temp.
If you don't know what 1.5 mm looks like,straighten out a small paper clip and adjust it open until you can just insert the wire. That should now be close enough to run and tune on it.

That is a really good tip right there I have been thinking about that for sometime now! I will turn that screw in I think I unscrewed it a bit before. Thankx guys I think the info I just got will do the trick.:D

Ok ok ok I turned in the idle screw in and then back out a bit now it idles fine when the brakes are on but as soon as I let off them it takes off?? I played with it for only about a half hour till I felt llike kicking it! Could of been the beer I dono?? So I guess I am going to start all over tom factory setting and I am going to use that paper clip trick anyone have any other tips for me? Getting this savage to run right is given me a hard time!!!!!:\
 
Check your throttle settings on the remote, if the it takes off when your trigger on your radio is not being pressed then I sugguest checking your throttle trim settings on your radio. its relatively easy, just twist the knob labled throttle something.
