Anyone ran one of these mills (Werks Picco .26) before? My lhs can get one for me for $160, just wondering if anyone has had any experience with one and how they felt about it......
 
No one has ever ran a Werks Picco? I know that there are 3 different Picco engins out and that they are all made by the same manufactuer, but just have different color cooling heads and name stamped on them........I suppose if no one has had the pleasure of running one, then I'll submit my input on it when I get it, though I'm sure it will probably run just the same as the Ofna Picco...................same engine, different name.

I'd Love to help ya if I could. My bash buddies and I spent a small fortune on Picco .26 and Wasp .26's direct from friends and family in Italy (got a sick discount and made a profit off the ones we sold). Both where identical except the difference in cooling head colors. I wouldn't be suprised if that engine was the same too.

If you buy it, definitely let everyone know.
 
Sure will, hope to have it in spring, not unless we get some warm weather before then so I can make a few extra bucks to pay for it....I guess $160 isn't a bad price??

Here is the latest poop from Werks.
They have taken over the importation of Picco engines from Trinity. The tech data numbers are the more up to date info directly from Picco. The P3 is the new release from November '03. It should have plenty of get up and go like their other engines.

Stretch M - Gratsi for the info bro. Maybe the customer support from them will be better as even in Italy Picco sucks hard dong when it comes to customer support in general. This is why I'd always reco a Wasp over a Picco now that I'm posotive that they are identical.

Silent - I traded my last new engine for the new Sirio .27XL plus cash on my end. I still want to c what an EBmod'd Picco or Wasp .26 can do. My Cousin has a couple more that he wanted to sell. I'll be in touch soon. FYI...these have the Italian market only cooling head that's far superior to the standard american market head........it's still purple but looks even pimper.
