anyone had problems installing werks cutch?

seems the flywheel is thinner then the normal ones
so the normal fastening cone delivred with the engines is too long ..

Do you mean the flywheel hole is smaller? You may need to sand down the collet slightly if you feel it will interfere with your gear mesh.

I'm running the Fioroni centax clutch, basicaly the exact same thing as the werks... I'm using 2 carbons & 2 teflon shoes, love it!!! It gives my S5 a ton of bottom end snap & they are super low maintence as well.

does it fit like the original clutches
or is the flywheel thinner
so you have to find a smaller conewasher for the motor to ?

Mine went on with no problems... Didn't have to modify anything & yes it is a thinner flywheel vs the stock kyosho one, I just re-used the same flywheel collet.

yes you have to cut the collet down 2mm and you are ready to rock.

what is happen is that the collet is sticking out so the flywheel nut can not lock down good b.c. of the collet.

i was going mad too. a friend of mines helped me out last feb with it.

Gootch hit on the head "low maintence".

be sure to use some thread lock. blue is good. sometime i use just tidbit of red if the bot backs out me sometime.

also what motor is it going on?

and do you know how to set up right?

if not post here so we can help you.

Make sure you clean the threads of the clutch with nitro blast, then use thread lock. Otherwise your clutch will adjust itslef.
