How can i reduce idle rpm,,,without pressing throttle, it runs, could that be the cluch that isnt working fine?....I'm getting tired if this truck,,,(tmaxx),,,somebody told me that is better the HPI Savage 25.

I can't agree with the advice you were given, but we can help you with the problems. you will have to turn out your idle screw.

Tuning is something that has to be done in ALL nitro engines!!! No matter what truck/engine you have, you absolutly have to tune it, or learn how to...

i agree with VB or try tuning your radio alittle and backing off the trim to the throttle it may be set alittle too advanced and not letting it return to idle
but tuning is something that needs done to every nitro reguardless who makes it

it wasn't cooperdillion was it?? Or Maxx Fx?

Anyway I agree with Eddy, Thatd be the 1st thing Id check I think. I had a buddy turn mine all funky and it was all funky.

You'd be surprised at how many possible causes there can be for one little problem. Try the advice the guys posted earlier. You also may want to recenter your servo, set the idle adjust screw and make sure your throttle linkage isn't binding or catching on something. Sometimes, just starting from square one is the best thing to do.

If none of those things work. Fill it with new fuel. I had fuel that was old and it sent my idle nuts. I put new fuel in and now it idles perfect.
