So since I didn’t leave this morning to head back home I decided to go get few last minute things done and here we go Murphy’s fkn law again.. Back tire fell off wth I just can’t win now here yelling at the dealership. This could have been real bad on the freeway 75mph this morning if I were to go home.. And other back tire was loose as well. So yea I’m pretty pissed off

Holy crap. Did it damage anything on the body panels? If not, you got lucky there too. Hope they get this straightened out. Threaten them with the lemon law. That's just f'd up man.

Man, that sucks! Did you hear a loud, horrible "clang" or "thunk", then the rear of the car dipped suddenly, or shifted? I hope this happened in a parking lot or something and not on a street! Looks like at least one of the bolts got sheared straight off, cut cleanly in half. Did the other bolts come loose or break off too? I hope you can get things sorted, if that came off on the highway, it wouldn't be "This could have been real bad...at 75mph", it'd be "Check it out, I'm on the news!"!

I mean, the warranty or something must cover that! Did you have to get a tow truck? That last picture...luxury sports cars aren't supposed to have rear wheel steer

@ The -RC- Dude, rear steer didn’t work that good!! And yea on main road thank god not freeway. Little shake then big bam!! Skidded on to side road. Wheel was jammed between the caliper and rotor. Come to find out they put the wrong lug nuts on it. I’ll send pics. Fkn idiots!!!!

Too bad, if it came stock with rear steer as well as front steer you'd be a parallel parking master! And U-turns, no problem! Anyway, that sucks, the dealership put the wrong bolts on, or the assembly line? You could file a lawsuit but I don't think it needs to come to that, but maybe mention it and they'll be *happy* to fix any and all the damage!

As a lifelong auto tech I will say those wheels should have been retourqed after 20-30 miles and they should have told you.
I have a dropped,older V8 540iT that I put "inexpensive" TSW aftermarket wheels on and it was a mistake for sure. I sold them to some kid in a 3 series and refinished the stock Alpina wheels instead.
Get a breaker bar with a 17mm socket to keep in your trunk so you can check those splined lug bolts on the regular, most techs don't do it correctly. I hope they at least gave you the lug "key".
I'm the idiot that likes to likes to drive way too fast so I keep an eye on that poop lol .

Nuts (no pun intended!)...was there any damage to the wheel (rims and tires), fenders, or other parts of the car? I take it you're ok too?
