I haven't touched anything rc since I crashed my little plane and never fixed it. Its been kind of nice, more money to put toward whatever else I want to. The problem is that I've found myself looking at rc videos and forums more and more the past few weeks. I've also been thinking about getting a new rig. I can really say the baja is what I want, I just don't quite have the money for one. We'll see what happens, I can always just upgrade a radio and get my little Mamba Rc18t going again, but I was looking at the 2.4 brushless slash 4x4. This isn't so much a "Help looking to buy a new car" thread as just looking for a little input on any experiences. I can always save for a baja. :D

The 2.4 4x4 Slash is a very good setup. I got my dad one when I got a 4x4 slash my self and its real good. The radio setup works awesome and has great range and is pretty easy to program. Do that on 3s and you will be happy till you can get a baja. Get the black one though, it comes with chrome rims and looks so sick in person.

3s would be cool. I have a few stick packs from a while back I can use to start off with.

Resistance is futile - you will be assimilated back into r/c!

If I thought I could do it,I'd save for the Baja. But you also have to make sure you have a large area to run it keeping in mind the extra time and hassle if you have to drive somewhere other than your backyard.

I thought about that. My uncle's house is good, but it is 30 minutes away. I can't save either. Took me years to save up for my 1:1.

So I guess I'll be cutting back my money till my paycheck thursday. Gas money with some food is how it will be. I just ordered myself a new slash 4x4.

Well I got off work at 11 tonight and had a brand new slash 4x4 waiting for me. We'll just say I was up a little late tonight playing outdoors.

The great thing is that you can play outside late with one and no one usually knows you're there. Enjoy your new toy.

Oh I am. Too bad I broke an a-arm and lost a spring cup last night though. Have to wait until at least thursday before I can get another.

If you're not breaking them, you're not having fun. Unless of course, you're Rolex and we all know he's a bit odd.

I thought I would share a couple pics I've taken.
