It was nice here in The mountains of NC for most of the morning today....so out came the SAVY.......ran a few tanks thru it and when i went to finish off the last little bit of fuel out.....it started making a clicking sound when i trid to start it....pulled the engine and while spinning it by hand, right after the compression stroke i hear the clicking noise sounds to be coming from the crankcase.....is this normal? I checked the one way bearing, cleaned a re installed, Still hear it, I had no running problems, ran like it always does. Anyone had this experience with the 4.6?

i have that happening once in a while. I'm guessing it is normal because after i just kept trying to start it she fired right up. It could be anything really, I'm not an expert but I'm just saying that, that has happend to me and i just ignored it and after a couple tries with the starter it stopped and fired right up.

Yeah it seemed to run fine......just never heard it before. Thanks
