i have a team infinity big block engine not sure n the exact size (bought it used) but i think its a 21.any way i put it on my savage x but this motor has one of those stupid 4 needle carbs and i can't quite get the mid range needle set right.Any body know about how many turns from closed it should be.any input would be greatly appreciated. '

BTW this is the needle located on the opposite side of the LSN on the carb

Your lsn and mid needle work together and in my experience with a 4 needle carb the middle needle is flush and really never messed with. If you turn the mid needle in too far it will hit the lsn and damage it. I have only had one 4 needle carb and it was a os engine and I never messed with it and my engine ran fine. I would set the mid needle flush and tune with the lsn and hsn. Somebody else may have more knowledge than I do about this but thats my experience with a 4 needle carb. Personally I didn't care for it too much 3 needle's are hard enough to tune lol. If your having that much trouble you could always put a 3 needle carb on it.

Thanks i will try flush and how that works out.if not i think i will just put a 3 needle carb on it.i have a carb off of HPI 4.6 that I'm thinkin should work.
thanks for your input
