hey all. it's been a while. can anybody tell me if i can use wd40 as an after run oil in my trx .15? i know you can use it in the 2.5, but i didn't want to go ahead if it is gonna cause damage to my engine.
After-run oil is only used to repel moisture, WD-40 is designed to do just that. Unless anyone else can come up with a specific reason why not, I'd say go for it.
yah i think wd 40 would work as after run oil but i dont use it it dosent do anything.... buy i think it would do what the reguglat after run oil would do but just a thinner liquid because my after run oil is thicker not super thin...
Well actually wd-40 isn't really good for much. IT is just some real light weight oil in an areosal can. IT should work ok I would suggest getting some marvel or something if you can its cheap and a little better consistancy than wd X
lazy boy,eh. no. i haven't had it out since. it's been freezing cold and snowy here. plus i started mun again last week so i haven't had the time. you take any pics of the beating you laid on your maxx yet? oh... never mind. i just read your other post.
wd40 does work to loosen rusted bolts and it takes grease off of metal like that but it also can be used as a minor lube from what i heard... but that starts on fire easy and after run oil takes a few seconds so now id say buy some reg after run oil its only like $3...
