I have seen different ways of waterproofing the servos. I've seen people use ballons, but the most interesting way was I saw someone use that rubber dip stuff in a can. For rubberizing tool handles. Has anybody tried it?

Nothing will make them water proof maybe water resistant. If some moisture does get inside the Plasi-cote your are talking about it will trap the moisture inside. I just dont run my Maxx in water I have too much dough invested in my baby to put it through something as tramatic as a puddle.:mex:

i use this stuff aeroplate its a dielectric grease that people use for r/c boats (the co. said they go to trade shows w/ servos underwater for days operating) you take your servos/rx/fs/rx pack and dip them in it and let them drip dry i also use balloons for dirt and grime protection the balloons alone do not provide the needed protection(you will notice after wet runs the balloons will be damp on the inside thus the need for the aeroplate) this stuff really works a couple days ago i turned my buggy into a submarine playing in the ditches it stopped dead in about 4-5in of water(all i could see was the wing) and was sitting in it for at least a min. & half while i ran down the block to retrieve it long story short NO DAMAGE:w00t:
