So I gess I'm cheap but is thare a way to water prof ur nitro Rc for cheap

lol,you can buy waterproof servos and run a body that covers the engine and airfilter,thats about the closest you will get on a nitro
You'll never "waterproof" a nitro rig, the closest you'll get is really water resistant. You can either buy waterproof servos and a waterproof box for the rx, or look up how to waterproof them yourself. Even after your electronics are taken care of, you'll still have the engine and it NEEDS air, if it sucks in water....it'll stall and more than likely be done for. HPI has the "waterproof" air filter on the Nitro Bullet MT/ST, all I see it as is a covered filter that'll allow you to go splashing through puddles but if you submerge it like some people do with their electric rigs, it'll suck in water.

I'm not going swimming with it lol just thinking ahead to winter and its been raining a lot
You should be fine then, plenty of people run their nitros in the snow.

In reply to a cheap waterresisting go to the dollar store and get urself a pack of ballons,not the cheepo chincee ones the thick party ballons,take these ballons and fenagle ur battery holder,servos and receiver inside them,u want the wires to come out of the baloons opening put a lil vaseline on the wire and zip tye sum zipties there,next u want to stretch the baloons a lil thin where the servo horns mount don't wory they will fit back on without trouble ,keep your filter oiled well when running in wet conditions it will help shed water,one can get crafty with an old rc body and make a baffle to block ur filter from the bulk of the splashes,I have dun this for many years and never ruined my electronics or engines also after runnin in the drink don't be afraid to use some extra aro,I live in new York and run my rcs all year I use an old wool sock on my head to keep the temps up and steady.
