So I was out wheeling my Revo, finally got all the bugs worked out and its running great! And I roll it down a little hill into a small puddle. It landed on the roof and immediately stalled out. Back to my jeep and opened it up and found water in the intake tube, the air filter soaked and mud all over the cooling head.
I took it home and opened the engine up, and dumped about a 1/2 teaspoon of water out of the engine. I used some compressed air to blow out the water, immediately oiled and manually turned the engine over (head still off) and repeated this a few times. During this time I also added some oil to the carb and removed the exhaust manifold.
After about 2 hours under a fan, I put the engine back together and held my breath as I tried to restart and....
Voilà! It's running just fine! After all that my question is: did I just get lucky or am I seconds away from disaster everytime I run it?
