would i be wasting my time by putting an os rg .21 on my axis.would it stick with the comp.

It would make it faster but you have to decide if its worth it. In my opinion the Axis is more of a bashing toy.

well i have the motor all i have to do is get the allen screw out of the back plate and puta new one inand i'm rtr.

ok somebody give me a little info. if i put the osrg in the axis, it's still won't be competitive? or is it just that it's duratrash?

that buggy is not too bad - it is built strong and with a good mill in it, it could be fun to race with at a novice level locally. However, there are two things that are important to remember. 1. it is still a duratrax, where other buggys hold up, the duratrax will break, 1/8 buggy tracks are brutal, and the chances of u breaking something on a hard landing is good. 2. although the os rg is a GREAT engine, it is not going to be too much faster than what u have now on a race track, since u do not get up to full speed. If u have the engine already - put it in there, the extra power will be nice, but the reliability of the OS engine is really where it will shine. Remember though - when racing it is 90% driving ability, and 10% car.
