I have had two Wasp .28s. About a gallon on the first and just a quart or so on my new one. I absolutley love the Wasp .28. No problems at all...
 
same here. my wasp is awsome. and if it does get too hot just richen it. but mine stays tuned pretty well. I'm not even a good tunner and i can manage that thing. great engine :)
 
Most engines run between 220 and 270 safely. You should not be tuning for temp, make sure you have a nice big trail of smoke comming out of the stinger, with good power. Once you have that then you check the temp and use that as a marker for your tune.
