OMG The Wasp 28 is soo pimp. it makes my savage wheelie like no other (i have 15/52 Gearing), And Hauls A$$ When It Isnt Doing Wheelies EVERYTHING I WANT!. Nightmear To Tune But Its Worth It. I'm Not a very good tunner and i still manage to keep that tune. the only problem is the carb sticked On Mine AC48 Says His Did too. Its Easy To fix tho. And My Pull Start Broke. If you love wheelies get it! i was doing a wheelie and it was so powerful it did the wheelie caught on the back bumper and did a front flip. its an awsome engine.

WORKS THE BEST ON WILD CAT ELIMINATOR (i think)
 
I used some after run oil, but I believe mark used some WD40. Just put a little lube on the slide and slide it in and out a few times and it should be fine. Glad you like the power mark, and good luck with the tuning. (its really not a nightmare :))
 
Yea I Used Some Wd40 And It Works Soo Well Now! The Pull Starter Keeps Braking Though And Its Pissing Me Off So I'm GOnna Get a Roto Start Or Something. Hey Does N e one know if the s-25 roto start will work/fit on my wasp 28? and if not i need a link or something to get one. I had to take appart my hole savage over a stupid string!

The Tunning is Going Well Too AC. Every one says its so hard. when you first tune it its kinda hard (harder than my other engines I've tunned NX-15, Hyper 21, and s-25) but it isnt too hard I'm not a very good tunner and i got it tunned good and keep it tuned. i guess a nightmear to tune is an exageration....

but its going well and fast. i love it!
 
ya madd-maxx the s-25 roto start will fit on the wasp 28,i never even put the pull start on mine when i bought my old motor,
 
I do not beleive it will fit. To test, take off your S-25 pullstarter, and if it fits, then the s-25 rotostart will fit.


EDIT: Well, after seeing .30 savage's post, I guess it will fit, lol.
 
okay. thanks now I'm just looking for one of those starter box wands.
 
If you don't want to buy a rotostart go and get yourlself some rope that is used for those pull lights. Its strong and won't break like the stock rope.

Pull lights? Like the ones that have one bulb, and the string hanging down, and it clicks when you pull it? (commonly found in unfinished basements..)
 
nvm ppl i found my wand. I'm gonna go hook up my roto start system on my wasp

15/52 gearing is too steep (3.46:1 low speed gearing). Gear up to something like 17/47 which is 2.76:1. I normally run 18/47 (2.61:1) with my Picco 26 and it can still wheelie at pretty much any speed. I've even used 19/47 (2.47:1) and was still able to lift wheelies without too much of a problem.
 
ok, thanks for the tip as well. I was wondering what kind of string I could use for when and if I break the pulltstart string on my hyper .21 comin....
 
If you ever need another one way for the hyper I've got one. Its the "turbo" thingy, looks retarded, but I'm pretty sure tahts hwere it came from.
 
Just so we are clear, the HPI S-25 roto start does work on the Wasp, I have done it. BUT, you need a HPI one way bearing to fit in the rotostart gear, the wasp .28 one way is too big to fit.

Mark, I just PMed you the links to everything you need to put rotostart on your wasp, althouh if you don't already have a battery you will need one. 7.2 volt stick...good luck.
 
thanks ac. i already have a 1800 mAh battery pack, and the roto start back plate i just took off my s-25 and it already had that new barring. so I'm set i was just driving it a lil bit ago (waking up neibors LOL):)
