I was in my LHS the other day when a guy came in with a wasp off his savage 25 and he needed something to make the rotostart work. The one way bearing thing he showed me looked odd almost like half tmaxx half savage with the crank driveshaft. Can someone tell me if i need something special i am gonna buy the engine next week. But i want it to work right the first time.

Talk to Christian (send him a PM, he is an admin on this site). I believe he has the Outlaw .26 which the Wasp .26 is a clone of. He can tell you what he did to mod his rotostart to work. It involved adding a bearing.

Get a Tmaxx hex wheel hub. Put it in the rotostart as a spacer. The oneway nut on the the wasp is about half the thickness of a stock 25 oneway. The Tmaxx hub will makeup that difference. cost is just $2.50 at the LHS.
