Warped epo elevator

HI guys,

i have a Hobbyzone Apprentice epo plane.

Whilst having a training flight my instructor allowed me to crash into a tree, which really didn't impress me. The tail section broke off (now sucessfully glued back) but the elevator is warped

Any suggestions on how to straighten it. It's currently under 6 heavy books but is there anything else I could do? I was thinking about using a hairdryer to warm it but maybe that would be too hot.

Any thoughts?

You could try some heat to straighten it out. I don’t know what this thing looks like, you have a photo?

Use boiling water on a towel, heat gun will damage the foam and make the cells look like popcorn.
