I need to replace the Motherboard on my kids DS lite. One of the pins are damaged in Slot 1 and it can not play any DS games. It doent matter if it is intermittent or a fully functional board. Most likely I will just use the Slot Connect from the Board. Please let me know if there is anyone willing to part with one. Let me know how much. Thanks in Advance!

Unfortunately they're hard to find. I was just looking for one as I toasted the on/off switch and had no real luck. I never found a site that sold them outright. I saw one on Ebay but that was about it. I managed to replace the switch and mine's fine now. I hope you find one. They're scarce.

Glad you got yours fixed Candy.

My son refused to part with his broken DS without being compensated since he saved his own money to pay for it. So there it sits collecting dust.

Hammerhead, I will ask the little tyke what he may want for it and let you know. It does turn on, but will stop working at times.

I did a search on Google and someone said they bought an extra motherboard for the DS at http://www.dealextreme.com This website also has the TF modules and full casing. Hope you find it there.

Also noticed Hammerhead that your in Clifton, I'm in Hoboken, if your ever up for running on a weekend, we can find a suitable race place. I know there is a park near that Costco in Clifton thats nice and quiet for running.

OH!!! One very important note. To repair the DS, you'll need a special screwdriver called a "triwing" or "trigram". And you'll need a very small Philips. Dealextreme sells them in a kit for like $8. That's where I got mine. Just be aware that they take forever to ship.

I have the tools I need. I picked up a Tri-Wing from Microcenter for $2.99 & already have some nice fine Craftsman Screwdrivers. Thanks for the heads up anyway!

My kid wants $25 for his DS Lite.

It's black and will include the battery if that matters.

Like I said the unit will turn on and even play games, but sometimes it will just lock up for no reason and stop working. I believe he may have got a little rough with it at one time.

Sounds good how would you like payment? Send me a PM and I will give you my info. Thanks alot!
