Sold / Found WANTED: Body Clips!!

well i lost another body clip today, now i only have three. i did the fuel tubing thing to the clips, so when you loose them their easy to find. but i couldnt find it. i was wondering if someone has any extra spare body clips. it be'd great if someone could help me out.

Heres one of my tricks, I have extremely thin hobby wire and I tie them off like they do on the real full size race cars or I bought the Dubro body clip retainers-for like three bucks I got 8 clips and two retainers... they work great til you really crash hard and the rubber breaks...still didn't lose the clip though-lol

Honestly, If you can afford body clips, you can't afford to run your car. Dedicate the time you WOULD be running to finding a way to support your hobbies. In the long run you will be better off.

well, i'm not broke, i have alittle money saved.(cause yes, i have to, to keep up this hobby). but i need to buy some fuel and other things, non rc related, real 1:1 scale related. i just thought smeone out there would just send me a few in an envalope, guess i'm wrong....

Well in my opinion that is assuming quite a bit, for just about the price of a gallon of gas in your 1:1 car you could have a whole bag of these and if you wanted to do the the hobby wire trick maybe not splurge on that can of pop and you'll ba able to swing that too, and don't you have someone you run with that will give you one instead of coming here to ask someone to MAIL one to you?? The paperclip thing does work too, I've used them in a pinch..This must be the cheapest part on an r/c car, if you can't afford these things maybe you need to readjust some of your equity?????? Not trying to sound harsh here but give me a break, asking/expecting people to mail you body clips??? come on :shrug:

just a tip for loosing body clips ,
dubro makes a rubber clip holder to keep from loosing them ,but i take flourecent orange string cutting it about foot long ,drilling a small hol in the body and hood i nthe center between the post tie a knot and feed the ends thru the body tie another few know hit it with ca glue the tie them to the clips and once again hit it with ca they will never get lost and when you take the body off they stay with it ,
the ziptie and tubing works good ,but if you roll it thenthe tie can be busted off and all is lost even if you find the tubing the clip may be among the missing anyways
just a thought
and it works good ,

btw:clips at my LHS are like 3 dollars for 10 ,but asking for them in here is alittle lame bud ,i know as a kid or young adult times can be rough ,,
trust me i have 3 sons age 22.17,15 and thyeall need help every week cause there funds just dont last ,but just a thought next time you put gas in your 1:1 stop at and save the price of a gallon and you got your clips ,,
