Hi,

I feel like a real dufus when it comes to electric mods.

I need help from someone in NJ to install a brushless motor into my erevo, I have all the parts, but want someone who has experience making this a professional install (ie soldering the deans connectors, removing the traxxes plugs etc) and making sure the wiring works with a double pack. I have a Novak HV 4.5 Brushless System.

Please contact me if interested and name your reasonable price.

THANKS!!!

you CAN do it yourself with a little soldering practice but maybe you should just go to your lhs and see if they'll help ya out?

Your LHS should be able to do all that for you if you don't want to try it. Before I got into the hobby my soldering skills were HORRID. Now installing a Deans is a piece of cake! I would definitely give it a shot yourself. Go buy a Helping Hand station from Radio Shack for $12 or whatever. It REALLY helps when you're learning to solder. You can focus on the actual soldering instead of trying to hold 2 things together and solder them. I still use mine since it makes things so very easy.

Here is a video on how to install a Dean's connector:

YouTube is a great resource to learn new things as well...

Wow thanks. My LHS is making excuses, the guys who does electrics is supposedly soo busy he doesn't come to work and they even made me drive there yesterday to drop of the car then when I got there I was told they couldnt accept the job because they dont know when they will get to it :::?????

I would normally love to learn this myself but considering the expense I have put into this kit I dont want to risk it? Maybe I can mail my kit to one of you trusty rcers?

I'll do it for free. I've done work for other members and would be happy to help you out. The only catch is I get to do a couple on road straight line test runs with an Eagletree Data Recorder to gather some power information.
