I need to start taking a regular dose of vitamins daily.
I take a multi vitamin, but know that I should take separate vitamins in better doses.
There has to be a health nut or two here, so tell me what I should and should not be taking.
Thanks

I use the Gold Mega WITHOUT iron from GNC. It's a good multi with all the stuff you'll need. The problems with multi's is that you get stuff you won't neccesarily need. Zinc is good C is good. Just make sure your not taking iron or anything with iron. Fishoils are usually a good bet too but finding one that won't give you fish breath isn't the easiest task. It also kinda depends on what your doing, are you working out alot or just adding a vitamin to your diet. Xyience also makes awesome stuff vitamins included but it's a little pricey.

I try to get my vitamins through what I eat. It is possible to OD on certain vitamins and minerals.

Thanks for all your serious comments.:farting:

Now. Does anyone have any "real" advice?

My doctor suggested that I take the vitamins separately, not a multi.
Every website that I go to, they try to sell me the moon.

Seems everyone overlooked one you could really use, yes geritol, and rogaine would be of good use to you, but how bout that little blue wonder pill from our friends at Phizer......VIAGRA! :D

In all seriousness, If your doctor suggested to take your vitamins seperately, didn't he also tell you which vitamins you needed to take seperately? :doc:

How about one of these...:chillpill

ok the vitamins that you can get too much of are the oil soluble vitamins and some if not all are vitamin e, d, a and there is one or two more

Here you go bro this is were i work these items are a good source for whatever your body is needing http://barleans.com/ check them out i take Omega Man, Flavored Flax Oil and Barleans Greens daily and i tell you what i havent felt this good since my high school days.

Your right I will be serious now.

Viagra.

The super muli vitamins are too strong imo. You dont need 1000% rda of everything. I know I get headaches when I take too many vitamins. So now I take a small one with 100% of everything, and only a couple times a week. If you eat well you dont need a lot more.

so your doctor told ya to start taking vitamins but didnt tell ya which ones ya need? Thats kinda odd. Like ya low on something? (Iron, protein, calcium etc.)
