Hey guys...

I keep getting these stupid viruses... It has just happened in the past couple days... They are all dialers and are really annoying... I delete them, and they just come back. I have no idea what site i would get them from, because i rarely visit any other site. I am scanning once again with Norton. The virus name seems to change every time i delete it, so there is no solid name... I'll post the name i find, and hopefully you guys can help...

Sounds like you have a dropper installed. This is a pain, but check your c:\documents and settings\<desktop account> folder for hidden folders that are random charactors. Chances are, you have a rather nasty one called "Swizzlor". I spent 3 hours removing it BY HAND in the DOS prompt for a client a few months ago.

Gotta avoid the pron sites, bro; they getcha comin and goin...... (no pun intended)

LOL... Well, i think i found the problem... They were dialing, but not through the computer, but through the networked fax machine... I unplugged it, and the stuff stopped, and i deleted the files again, and they didnt come back... My mom said the fax machine was dialing at random times, so I'm positive it was that... I will check tomorrow, again, and report my findings...

By the way, the virus was a dialer.dialplatform I couldnt find any info on it... maybe someone here knows..?

Thanks for the help.

ROFLMAO .21 you are soooo busted. LOL!!!! Few other sites use dialers. AVG software won't kill 'em because they're not a virus.
