Does anyone here have one? Which one and how do you like it?

I'm thinking of picking up a USCutter 24" or a CraftRobo. My hand cutting skills leave a lot to be desired, liquid latex apparently hates me, I'm a computer geek who used to do graphic design back in the dark ages (Pagemaker 3 FTW!) so doing the art in Photoshop/Inkscape/Illustrator will be easy, and USCutter is less than 10 miles from my house so shipping and support is a non-issue. Always nice to be able to threaten bodily harm if needed :)

~$300 for a plotter/cutter is pretty good. If I do decide to grab one look at the bright side, I'll do masks for RCNT Supporting members for just the cost of postage.

does the place you got it from have a web site?? i would love to have one so i could make my own maskes...even though i can do them at school whenever i want it would still be more convenient for me to have one at home....

That would be killer bro! I want to do matching paint?schemes to all my off-road racera this summer and I was gonna look?around for somebody I could hire to do?some logo masks for me.

For you, I'll only charge $50 + postage. :hehe:

Like I said, I'm debating on this. The cost really isn't all that bad for the plotter/cutter and can be used for lots of other things so it's not like I'm shelling out $300 just to paint a couple of lids. I may be crazy but I'm not *that* crazy. Heck, I may just decide to churn out custom masks and sell them as a little side biz with RCNT supporting members only paying supplies+postage.

I have that on my short list, but just haven't pulled the trigger. It would easily put my paint to the next level. I'd just need to be able to get enough jobs to pay it off...

Yeah, having the ability to use actual masks for my designs would take my ability to the next level... the current level being just slightly above "looks like cat vomit". It's my airbrushing skills that need the help. I'm still trying to figure that part out. :hehe:
