My comp crashed earlier and I had to reboot everything! I lost everything! My question is before when I would view a video on a site, it would use a video player (That I'm not sure the name of, and actually looking for) now its using microsoft video player and its really slow! So I was wondering the names of some other typical video players that might be a little faster?

Man I was thinking of posting the exact same question lol. My pc just crashed too and I had to reinstall everything :(. I have windows media player but it never works and just plain sucks imo.

I have never had problems with Windows Media Player. Currently using version 10.

I also have Realplayer and Quicktime installed.

real player, thats what I was thinking of. Thanks Rob! Now I just gotta find a spot to download it from. Man, this crashed comp has my head spinning and my thinking all out of wack. The 3 hour conversation with Dells Tech support in India wasn't a treat either.

But yeah Jesse, I always get that too with Windows media player. poop never works and if it does its REALLY slow.

Winamp is a really good agent to watch movies with. In any case if you have a decent computer, it's not the video player, but the codecs you are using with it. if you dowload newer codecs for WMP or Winamp or even real player you are bound to get beter quality from it.
