Build Thread Very pleased with my first build Tamiya TT01

My build is a aluminium & Carbon fiber chassis TT01, I did metal diff gears ⚙ front and rear, 64T metal Spur gear ⚙, 24T metal pinion gear ⚙, Rocket Pro V3 motor, 120A esc, magnet ? mounts with my own twist of single pin body clips, full light kit and receiver box. I recently had a minor wrecked I broke a front knuckle so I'm waiting for Amazon to deliver a full set of aluminium knuckles then I'm back ripping up the streets as I haven't found a good spot for speed run attempts yet. I must say though I am super impressed with the performance thus far.

NICE biuld..I have a tt02 that I purchased off ebay (used).. looking to update it with beefier electronics and motor..one question please..what kind of battery are you using?...

Right now I'm running it on 2-3 cell lipo and I'm having trouble finding a big enough spot to run it all out I get great performance so far, I don't know what your esc Amp is but 120A on 3 cell seems to be more than enough with the right motor

The car came with a 60a Kyosho speed house and the motor is a Kyosho G14L 550.. Not much power there..I want this thing to ZIP lol

With that 120A esc I run a 540 7.5T motor with great results, Spur gear 64T metal & 22-29T pinion metal gear and I have no complaints.
