In efforts to go faster I've gone and built another lighter chassis, got new motors, escs, and batteries. So I made my own carbon fiber plate and cut out new plates that are thicker and longer than the aluminum plates. The new motors are Leopard 1600kv paired with Hobbywing 150A Pro escs. Also picked up two Turnigy A spec 65C 5000mAh 6s lipos. The old weight of the truck was 15.3lbs ready to run, the new weight is 14.5lbs

Shoot'n for 120+ but i would like to reach 130. My ultimate goal is 150 with the truck

What do you believe saved you the most weight?

I bet that thing would hit 120 and higher with some RCNT decals. ;)

Puttin all the carbon fiber on it saved the weight. Other than that everything else is pretty much the same.

I'm down send me some :)

The new set up looks great! Does it have a little extra ground clearance up front? Looks like it does.

When it was slammed to the ground it was because I had not serviced the shocks in a while and as you may have seen. The truck bounced all over the road. At least shes stable at speed.

Everything has been serviced :)

looking good. can't wait to see it go.

how is your carbon fiber vacuum set up. I have been want to try playing with some.

Being in the military we have a few different composite repair sets and all we used was a little box hooked up to an air line that in turn creates a vacuum and and placed all the plys on top each other and left to cure under the heat lamp for 4hrs. It took 4 guys to impregnate all 11 plys of carbon fiber. The two outer layers are single ply and the 9 inner plys are 4 strand or quasi as most know it. This is super strong but it will shatter on a hard impact. I thought about using a piece of kevlar in the middle to act like a windshield does in keeping it from shattering. But kevlar is a pain to cut and sand. I was actually surprised at how simple the process is and the short time it took to make the plate.

Lmao.....wow she keeps gettin better, I'm still a fan of this build, nice work

this thing looks faster at a glance, looks more sleek and has a nice style with that carbon fiber coloring. man i can't wait to see how this beautiful rig runs! not everything beautiful is to be put on a shelf!:hehe:

Well I got some pretty dope stickers from Woodie today! Thanks man.

I too can't wait to run this beast and see where my new baseline is.
