I got one for X-mas thanks to the wife. One of the funnest X-mas presents I got in a long time.

If there is enough interest I was going to do a quick and dirty review.

With any rig, it really depends on what you are looking for. It's 1/20th so it's a tad smaller than the mini-t. It wheelies well on carpet, and has plenty of power with good Nihms I would not reccomend nicads or alkalines they dont have enough juice. It also comes with three pinion gears so you can gear it very low, or very high depending on your needs.

In it's stock form it's a little bouncy and reminds me a little bit of a clod buster.. only in miniture form

It's definetly fun for me to run around the house and the yard when I don't want the hassle of the nitro's. It's also a cut above any Radio shack/nikko/tyco I have ever owned, it puts them all to shame hands down.

I'll upload some pics and and do a quick review tommorrow or when I have a bit more time..for me it's a great alternative to a nitro. it's a nice hobby grade mini without the hassles of the 1/10 electrics..

ok. because i see them on ebay for 70.00

Like what kind of batterys does it use. And do u have the Fireball motor i herd those motor are good in the truck

It uses AA from the start but they make an opitional 7.2 hex pack. I really like the vmg. I plan on getting one with x-mas money.

I'll take a stab at a mini-review in a few hours.

In it's stock form with good Nihms (mine are duracell 2050mah's) it has plenty of power for som indoor climbing. It also comes stock with three pinon gears 12 13 and 15 tooth I belive.

For serious articulation I would soften up the springs a bit. It's springs have to be a little stiffer for all around performance out of the box. I took mine outside in the grass and it did fine. I don't have 2 feet of grass, but for a normal lawn it shot across the grass just fine.

As for torque it's easy to wheelie stock..if you are in a tight place doing a turn around in a hurry, expect it to do nose wheelies on a quick direction change along whith forward wheelies to it's lid with no problem.

I haven't tipped it over on a turn yet so it is pretty stable..

I however would not recommend the hex battery from Venom just based on the Mah rating of 1100 or vs. the duracell single cell 2050 mah's you could make your own pack with more runtime I would think.. Pic's and more info coming soon
