Venom Magnetic Tire Problems on NTC3

Anyone have any success getting the .26mm Venom premounts on their NTC3 ??? None of my nutdrivers will get in there and neither will the tool that came with the NTC3 itself. Seems as if the outer diameter of the drivers are too big to fit in with the nylon lock nut. Yet, I have 4 other companies tires and they all mount up just fine......

Anyone?

VEN-1042 MC1 super grip are the tires and can be found at www.venom-racing.com .

By the way, those Losi wrenches are already proving their worth. I'm heavy handed and didnt screw anything up while doing a once over on my NTC3....

Well, looks like I will have to grind down one of my drivers to make these fit. There is no adapter or custom wrench to make this model of tire work properly so you have no choice.

Its not a bad thing, just a pain in the ass. Wanted to update you guys.

No - but chances are I would have to file that one down too. Looks very similar to a couple that I have now

Just so you know, its only on the NTC3, no other ride, that this happens. Associated's NTC just plain has bigger nuts....
