I'm wondering if anybody out there knows if the diffs on the vendetta will hold up to a 5400Kv 3s lipo stock gearing setup.

I've run the stock gear diffs on 2S lipo with a 5000KV motor without issue. I currently run ball diffs with a 6800KV Neu motor on 2S. Though I didn't "need" to upgrade to ball diffs, I decided to do it for racing.
Be smooth with the throttle and either diff choice should be fine. I'd be more worried whether your motor will last on 3S.

Well i did buy a tekkin heatsink w/ fan for the motor. I'm hoping that should help.
