Hey Guys,
I have a question about my .21 razor buggy. When I run it for some time approx near the last 1/4 of the first tank the buggy will stall then restarting it is very difficult even if I top it off. It seems to be vapor locking. What can I do to resolve this. I also have another question my left rear tire wears much faster than the other three whats with that? If anybody has any answers it would be appreciated.

Thanks, jonspock :redbuggy:

Sounds like he is leaning out after warm-up...

Check the fuel pickup inside the tank for a crack or split. Often times that is what causes your engine to lean out as the tank empties. The fuel level drops below the crack and it starts sucking air, leaning out the tune.

If you want to verify this is the problem fill your tank and fire it up. Run it for just a minute (don't get it up to running temps) and drain the tank down to 1/4 full. If it won't start or starts but runs lean you found the problem! ;)

As for the tire wear: I would guess that you are running stock grease in the diff? If so your diff is acting like a limited slip and the left rear is getting most of the power. This is only a guess, however...

One other thing on the stalling: Do you have a fuel filter, and if so is it really close to the head? If so it could be acting as a heat sink and cooking the fuel...

Found a split in the seam of the tank I think I found the culprit. Thanks for the help.:D
