what is easyest to change the conrod or the flywheel and clutch shoes?? and will the conrod from the 2.5 revo engine fit the 2.5 T-MAXX engine??

what exactly are you trying to do here, these engines are the same the 2.5r from a maxx is the same as a 2.5r from the revo, to remove the clutch shoes
1 Remove engine
2 remove e clip from front of clutch bell and then remove clutch bell
3 remove shoes
for the flywheel just get a pair of channel locks place them around the outer rim of the flywheel and remove the nut from the ips shaft

well i have got 1 engine from the maxx and 1 from the revo and the 1 from the maxx has got a broken conrod and the revo has got worn out shoes...the flywheel on the maxx engine is a 2pin and the revo has a 3 pin so i can't just swop the shoes so its a choice of either swop the conrod or swop the flywheel and the shoes..... what is best to do?

flywheel is easier, might want to get something like a battery terminal puller though to make sure you dont damage the flywheel... you can pick then up off ebay cheap

hmmm i need it sorted asap! coz i am going away on monday and there are sand dunes and a huge beach! lol so i want to have it going b4 i go there lol
any ideas of fast ways to do it??

remove all of the clutch bell and shoes like how chuckscity said, all you should have left it the flywheel on the engine, with some self grip pliers hold the flywheel still and try not to damage it. undo the nut with a deep socket, (8mm i think) then put the self grip pliers, as best you can, behind the flywheel(engine side) and gently but firmly tap them and the flywheel should come loose

actually if the flywheel is buggered, you can hammer the balls off it and not worry about damaging it!! lol

but hope this helps

just replace the shoes then, IMO the three shoe clutch is a little more responsive and grabs a little better
