hey guys, iam thinking about upgrading my steering servo pretty soon, I have the kyosho madforce, and Iam just wondering what the speed, and strength of it is right now, or if there is anyway to find out, I don't want to go out and buy a new one and have it only a little bit stronger kinda thing, and Iam also curious if I can use my current steering servo, in place of my current throttle servos because I think its more powerfull, anyways thanks for your help guys.

Its prob just a generic servo. Maybe 80oz @ .20 sec would be my best guess. Yes you could use your steering on your throttle/brake. It all depends on how much you want to spend when it comes to a steering servo. You can spend $35-150.

most of the RTR's I purchased had stronger steering servo's then throtle servo's. So what I would do is upgrade the steering servo and replace the throtle/brake servo with the old steering servo.

Also every RC I have and had I used a Hitec 645MG servo for steering

ya thats exactly what I was planning on doing although now that I look at them they are both perfex ks-102bk servos, meaning they are most likely the same right? or would they haven't diferent specs even though they are the same part number, maybe classified as the throttle and steering servo kinda thing? Either way, I am interested in getting a more powerfull steering servo, and I would like to get it from my LHS, so what numbers should I be looking for, I don't need anything to fancy and don't want to spend more then $50cnd, thanks again guys.

nah , theyll be the same spec.. so just keep the steering one as a backup for if the original throttle servo breaks or something..

50 canadian is like... 35 US right?
