I recently acquired a Tmaxx 1.5, and I'm hoping to sneak some more juice under the hood.... does anyone know what I would have to do to upgrade to the stock 2.5 engine, or a picco max21? I'm just curious if all it involves is new engine mounts and exhaust, or if I have to replace the ez start and everything..... thanks....

I believe you need the new ez start, but I'm not sure. You may want to buy a tuned pipe. The 2.5 should just drop right into the old mount, but there again, someone may need to correct me! The older .15 is a rotary carb and you will have to get a setup for the slide carb. I believe thats it. All you need is money, and everything is possible. Funny how that works...

What you have now, is a .15, not a 1.5. The 2.5 is also a .15 with some modifications.
You need to add the throttle control tower. Look at any new Maxx, and you'll see it there.

Just buy the os.18 cvrx with rotory carb, loads more power and a breeze to tune plus it will drop right in with zero mods! You will use a pullstart rather than the easy start.
