well i finally decieded to tear her down and do some up grades because i stripped a 13t. bevel pinion gear, here are the list of things I'm doing 4 spider gear, m.p servo saver, extended tvps, dual disk brake, titanium turnbukles, xs3 radio,taking out the fantom .27 letting it rest , while i run a picco .26, new era shock towers, new tmaxx big bores,removed the proline power strokes, got everything done tonite,except need to put back the front end and next is a roll cage going to dump the body!!!i spent like 3 hours straight doing this but its paying off everything is looking killer,i also broke in the diffs on the bench with a broken monster pirate dogbone and a drill they were a little tight but ran them with the drill and they loosened up ready to rock, I'm really rushing to finish this because i got stuck without my ride this past sunday and had to help everyone tune theirs well i need to go to bed its about 12:30 am............Aloha
 
sound slike you are goin to have some fun. it sucks havin to help people with there savage when you could be out drivin yours! try to get some pics up.

Just got my parts in yesterday. 5 cars and all of them were broke. :ahh:
Fixed the mini-t last night. Going to drink a couple of beers tonight and fix the pull start on my buggy.

Got the parts for the brake linkage, dual brakes, and the spider mod. Also got another body. (My Savage is stock so far.) Wanted to do the servo saver, but... lack of funds... Going to try to get everything on this weekend. Got a couple extra days off work. :devil: Looking forward to painting a body. Be my first.
Sounds like you have worked on yours pretty hard. Good luck with it.
 
it will cost you more then your reg. car,this is another money pit of mine but I'm having a blast of a time, good luck on yours and take your time!!!

That's the truth!! :) Wife's Bronco has been in need of a tune-up. Can't seem to get around to it. But I can sit up till 2 or 3 am fighting with the spring on a pull start. What's wrong with that picture?
Stripped the brake hub on the Savage a couple weeks ago. Just upgrading as things break.

The wife is enjoying the cars as much as I am. :cheers:

damn your lucky i think my wife hates mine, as if i was cheating on her i see the way she looks at my cars sometimes not good altough she does buy me aprts for fathers day birthday etc.
 
Yeah mine was into driving my old electric for a while but lost interest when I told her she would have to learn to work on it if she wanted to drive it. She still goes out to bashes with me but would much rather I didnt spend so much time with my RCs. I want to just tell her to get a hobby of her own but I'm afraid she will take up shopping. She already spends enough $$ i dont need her spending more. hahaha.
 
Guess the wife is the one that got me into it. She had been wanting one since a friend of ours had the Rustler at the airfield.

I guess I'm lucky she doesn't gripe about my hobbies. Last car I bought was the mini-t. She claimed it as soon as we got it. She will run the Mini, the Savage, and the TQ. Haven't been able to get her to run the buggy or the stadium truck yet though.
She goes with me most of the time when I fly. We can't talk her into flying. :)
 
i just buy my wife a purse every couple of months and shes happy well i guess shes happy she wants them coach and doony purses like 300 a pop
