As for wheels and tires I have been plenty happy with my pro-line trenchers on tech 5 wheels. I am running this combo on a 3.3 and it is perfect for bashing. If you plan on running on the street or other paved surface or doing any racing then there are better options but for bashing the trenchers are great!

no racing as of yet just running around the gravel i have in my yard and the pavement i live in the country so if i take it on the road it would be the highway lol i dont think i need to get my truck ran over by a semi

my god those are costly !! lol just looked um up on the "bay" bid 45.00 didnt meet the reserve for four with wheels wth haha

I'm thinking for a good set I'm looking at about that price, well ill just have to give in i guess

I actually like the tires that come on it. They suck going the right way. . But put them on backwards. They ride on pavement a lot smoother and dig in the mud a heck of a lot better. It'll get me by for now untill I invest in tires.

When I put the imex pinn dawg tires on my BB maxx married with a set of good off set rims, my tmaxx became a new truck almost to the point that I had to relearn how to drive it. I have my rig set up not to pull wheelies, when I floor the throttle you can see a tire patch on the asphalt, and on grass they work great. I paid 30$ on eBay for the tires, best money I spent so far.
And don't forget about the foam inserts, I used the yellow ofna molded foams. Foam inserts are just as important as the tires, you want a well balanced foam insert, and tape the inside of tires some guys also tape the foams.
My recomend advise to you is, when you mount your tires don't glue them right away, put them on the rig and drive it around first not hard just make some slow and fast runs to see if your tires and foams are mounted correctly sometimes you can bunch up the foams and get a wobble, after making sure your good then glue....

ill have to try puting them on backwars... I'm just looking for better steering i did order that new servo so id imagine that will help just have to wait till monday or so to put the truck back together lol its in pieces

i use mine as basically a mud toy. cheaper to fix than my real truck when it breaks lol but when i had them on the right way i couldnt go anywhere. but now that i put them on backwards i can make it way further than i used to. and on the pavement i think they ride alot smoother also.

Speaking of foam, i took my stock rubber off today ....no foam inside :/ the more and more i look into this truck it makes me think the past owner had nooooo idea at all what he was doing

I dont believe crawlers use foams either. Helps to keep more surface contact while crawling. But for a basher foams help to support the tires under hard steering and landing off jumps. Without foams i would break wheels all the time. I thought about sealing the wheels and running air in them but then they would bounce around too much. So I'm sticking with foams.

Ya I didn't run foam in my crawler. But they don't really bash there trucks. They race them with very few jumps. I'm guessing that they too them out for tight cornering.
