I want to know if I can upgrade my carb on my nitro MT .15FE.
I have a stock carb, upgraded sleeve,piston,crank,exhaust,etc...
Doesn't seem to have enough carb.

Hpi Makes a 5.5 carb. HOld on lemme find it.

Yes you can. I put an OS 10e carb on the 15 FE in my RS4 3. It made the engine run much better, like a new engine, I could not believe the difference. You have the single needle pos carb I assume, if so definately replace it, you won't regret it.

I think the 10er is O.S.' rotary carb, unless you want to mess with different linkage, make sure you get the rotary carb, and not the slide valve carb.

The 10er is a rotary carb, so is the 10e, the er is the newer version and will only work on an engine that uses a compression fitting to tighten the carb to the block. The 10e has two threaded holes on the base of the carb, one on each side, and the HPI 15 FE uses two mounting screws to hold the carb on, not a compression fitting. So the 10er will not work, you need the older 10e version if you do go with an OS carb. It's a great carb and holds a tune exceptionally well.

For The rs4 mt, you can use a slide carb. Just buy this thing called the High performance linkage set. It adapts your truck to use slide or rotary carbs. Slide Carbs are by far..FAR...better. There's less air turbulence and more control. The twin needles are also a big plus.
