Well as some of you may have heard me raving and loving UE parts, ....I do!

The parts have been great qulity, fit, and finish.

Last week I ordered some UE ultralite 7.5 Diffs via Hobbyshop NJ's online store. I paid for 2 day air so I would be up and racing for the weekend.......

Wednesday came and the parts arived so I started building...finished one diff and almost finished the second when I noticed I was missing 2 pins that hold the spider gears in place.

Looked up the UE site and shot off an e-mail explaining what happend and the next morning I backed it up with a phone call to Hobbyshop NJ.

Well 9 days later My 2 pins that hold the spidergears in the diffs are still not here. Unlimited still hasn't writen back at all. Hobby shop NJ said they'd shoot off an e-mail to UE and send me a courtesy copy....I've not gotten that either.

So here I am complaining about how I spent almost $300 on a parts kit that is incomplete and I'm feeling like I'm SOL on the pins.

I mean the pins come in a kit that only costs like $16. It just sucks that after spending my money, that I'm not getting any customer service to fix this problem.

For all I know these guys are having technical dificulties......either way, I've got an incomplete set of $300 diffs and I seem to be getting no help.

wow, talk about fast.....kind of.
I shot off an e-mail to both UE and HNJ this morning just before my earlier post.

Just checked my e-mail and Mike from Hobbyshop NJ. Informed me that my pins should be in the mail from UE today.

I'll keep you posted.

That seems so unlike UE. They're pretty good on customer service. Let us know if you get your situation resolved.

A friend of mine who got me in to RC has a full UE Supermaxx and we put my motor in his truck. They layed the power down nicely....

As for my diffs, I'll keep you posted.

And yeah I was disapointed too that some one over there at UE dropped the ball and took so long to pick it up.

quality parts, but in my own opinion, customer service lacks some with UE . hope you get your pins soon.

You'ld probably get more responses by creating your own thread, but Yes I like it. A friend of mine runs the full Racer X kit. and his truck handles just like a pro kit buggy.

Like mentioned earlier, I love their parts,.....its just with a one man operation, as you can imagine.....customer service is lacking.

I usually buy my stuff direct from UE or through www.hobbyshopnj.com I usually just check prices between them.

remember though UE ships 2 day air for free if you order direct from them. However they no longer take paypal.

Well I got my pins in the mail yesterday, put the diffs together, ran em, and they ROCK!

Glad everything worked out. I wish I could say the same for some of my orders from Tower like the 2.5 reciol starter my roommate is still waiting for after 6 months.

I got mine through my local hobby shop. I ordered it on a monday and got it in by that thursday. I'd suggest cancelling the order and buying it local.
